Our Journey

From agricultural roots to global leadership in mining irrigation, these are the key milestones in our history.

1865

R.M. Wade founded in Portland, Oregon, beginning the Wade family's long lineage in agricultural and industrial supply that would later seed Wade Rain.

1936

Wade Rain founded in Portland, Oregon, pioneering agricultural irrigation systems.

1987

Wade Rain sells the first drip systems for heap leach mining, starting the Ore-Max Division to serve the industry.

1991

Ore-Max drip products are first applied to copper heap leaching, an industry innovation.

2004

The revolutionary Max-Emitter is issued Patent No. 6,817,548 for its clog-resistant design.

2013

Ore-Max introduces the first factory-preinstalled drip collar for faster micro-tubing connections.

2024

Ore-Max has sold more than 500 million feet of emitterline to over 150 mines in 40+ countries worldwide.
